Greg Sowers is the builder of all Olde Tymers. Greg has been building boats for more than 30 years. In those 30 plus years he has researched, tested, continually improved and refined his building methods so that what he produces today is an exquisite mixture of art, craftsmanship and practicality. He has great skill as a builder and an artistic eye that makes his boats unique. Greg knows the function of different boat designs, because he uses them and tests them himself. Greg was a member of the 1983 United States Whitewater Slalom Team. He has also raced flatwater marathon canoes.  Although no longer competing, Greg still enjoys a challenging whitewater run, and a day spent on the water is always a good day for Greg.
